March has been one of the coldest in the last few decades. This has meant that people planting lawns have been faced with slower germination, or in some cases, failure.
Luckily though, it would appear that the weather is set to stay warm enough to allow good seed germination. There is also plenty of moisture in the soil.
The weather is forcecast to be warm with showers across much of the UK this weekend.
