This grass seed grows fast. This is one of our most popular mixtures, because it is hardwearing, and establishes quickly. Whilst it is not our finest seed mixture, its a great if you’re working to a tight budget.
In perfect growing conditions, Fast Grass can germinate in as little as 4 days. Usually though germination takes around 7-10 days.
This fast growing grass seed mixture is great for small, high traffic lawns that are worn out and need renovation quickly. For a finer mixture, click the striped lawn icon on the right, and browse through our high quality range of grass seeds.

I was disappointed as when my grass arrived there was a massive tear in the plastic bag and half of it had spilled out in transit!!! I think might be better to double or triple bag it if going through orinary post – as it was i didnt have enough to complet my lawn!

Fast shipment and good seed. I was hoping for really fast germination 4-7 days as we had both heat and rain but it seems to be taking the usual slow grass timing of 10-14 days for the most part. I probably should have invested in a large garden fleece for best results.

Took an age to germinate. When it finally did it is very patchy with many areas not germinated. I am going to have to over seed to fill all the gaps.
